Networks of Echoes: Collaboration, Community, and Creativity in the Musics of Eastern Orthodox Churches The composers commissioned to participate in the Psalm 103 project will publicly talk about the collaborative nature of the project, the traditions that are informing the approach, and the directions that they're going with the composition. Free and open to the public. Presented as part of Themester 2013, in collaboration with the Indiana University College of Arts and Sciences.

The Psalm 103 Project

We have commissioned, are publishing, and will premiere and record in the 2016/17 concert season a collaborative setting of the Vesperal psalm from six different Orthodox composers:

  • Matthew Arndt
  • John Michael Boyer
  • Alexander Khalil
  • Kurt Sander
  • Richard Toensing (+2014)
  • Tikey Zes
